Data Society Allince (DSA) and Interfaculty Initiative in Informattion Studies,the University of Tokyo in cooperation with the Asia Open Data Partnership (AODP) and the International Data Spaces Association (IDSA), IEEE, and International Open Forum on Data Society (IOFDS)are pleased to announce Data Spaces Week 2024, a week-long event to promote the development of international data space initiatives. Data Spaces Week 2024 will be held during the week of Monday 7 - Friday 11 October 2024 at Hongo Campus of The University of Tokyo. During the week, five events will be held: the DSA Open Forum, IEEE SA P3800 WG, Asia Open Data Partnership (AODP), IDSA Data Discovery Day Tokyo and the International Open Forum on Data Society (IFOFDS). The most important features of the events are the joint symposium between AODP, the Asian data community, and IDSA, the European community, and the participation of Asian organisations outside Japan in IOFDS, which is an opportunity for deep collaboration between Asia and Europe. We look forward to your participation.
この度、データ社会推進協議会（DSA）と東京大学情報学環は、アジア・オープンデータ・パートナーシップ（AODP）、Internatioal Data Spaces Association (IDSA) 、IEEE、International Open Forum on Data Society (IOFDS) と協力し、データスペースの国際的な取組の進展を進めるために、2024年10月7日（月）〜11日（金）の一週間において東京大学本郷キャンパスで、Data Spaces Week 2024を開催いたします。この一週間で、DSAオープンフォーラム、IEEE SA P3800 WG、アジア・オープンデータ・パートナーシップ(AODP)、IDSAデータ・ディスカバリー・デイ東京、International Open Forum on Data Society (IFOFDS) の５つのイベントを開催します。今回のイベントの最大の特徴として、アジアのデータコミュニティーであるAODPと、欧州のコミュニティーであるIDSAが共同でシンポジウムを実施することや、IOFDSに日本以外のアジアの組織が参加し、アジアと欧州が深く連携する機会です。是非、多くの皆様のご参加をお待ちしております。

Outline: The Asia Open Data Partnership (AODP) was established in 2015 with the aim of promoting and utilizing open data, information sharing and international cooperation based on the culture and needs of Asian countries and regions, with Japan participating since 2017. As part of the Partnership's activities, this summit aims to promote the dissemination of open data through information sharing and discussions on the progress and challenges of activities related to the dissemination and utilization of open data in various countries and regions, particularly in Asia.
概要：Asia Open Data Partnership（AODP）は、アジア各国・地域の文化とニーズを踏まえたオープンデータの普及と活用、情報共有、国際協力等を目的に2015年に設立されたものであり、日本も2017年から参加している。本サミットは、同パートナーシップの活動の一貫として、アジアを中心とした各国・地域におけるオープンデータの普及・活用に関する活動の進捗状況や課題等の情報共有、ディスカッション等を通じて、オープンデータの普及促進を目的として開催するもの。

Outline: The International Data Spaces Association (IDSA) is a pioneer in building international data spaces to realize a data-driven society in the digital age, and established the IDSA Japan Hub at the University of Tokyo's Interfaculty Initiative in Informatics in November 2023. The Asia Open Data Partnership (AODP) was established in 2015 with the aim of promoting and utilising open data, information sharing and international cooperation based on the culture and needs of Asian countries and regions. As part of the Partnership's activities, it holds an annual summit to promote the dissemination of open data through information sharing and discussions on the progress of activities and issues related to the dissemination and utilisation of open data in Asia and other countries and regions. The summit is held once a year. Now, we would like to initiate collaborative activities between Asia and Europe by jointly organizing Data Spaces Discovery Day 2024 with the Asia Open Data Partnership (AODP) Summit, with the aim of promoting the dissemination of data spaces.
概要：International Data Spaces Association（IDSA）は、デジタル時代におけるデータ駆動社会実現のための国際的なデータスペース構築のパイオニアであり、2023年11月には、東京大学情報学環にIDSA Japan Hub を設立。国際的な協調の下で、データスペースに関する活動・研究を行い、日本におけるデータ流通とイノベーションを促進している。Asia Open Data Partnership（AODP）は、アジア各国・地域の文化とニーズを踏まえたオープンデータの普及と活用、情報共有、国際協力等を目的に2015年に設立され、同パートナーシップの活動の一貫として、アジアを中心とした各国・地域におけるオープンデータの普及・活用に関する活動の進捗状況や課題等の情報共有、ディスカッション等を通じて、オープンデータの普及促進を目的として年１回サミットを開催している。今般、データスペースの普及促進を目的として、Data Spaces Discovery Day 2024を、Asia Open Data Partnership（AODP） Summitと合同で開催することで、アジアと欧州の連携活動を開始させたい。

Outline: In order to realize a data society, the conference brings together key members from Japan and Europe involved in data federation to discuss data spaces, data brokering, data trading, regulation and governance for the use of data, standardization, interoperability and trust frameworks.
概要：データ社会の実現を図るため、データ連携に関わる日欧の主要なメンバーを集め、データスペース、 データ仲介、データ取引、データの利活用に関わる規制とガバナンス、標準化、相互運用性、 トラストフレームワークなどについて議論を行います。

The University of Tokyo and the Data Society Advancement Association (DSA), in cooperation with domestic and international data space-related organisations, will host Japan's first Data Space Week 2024 from Monday 7 to Friday 11 October The five-day event week will bring together key players from industry, government, academia and the private sector from Japan and abroad. The event will feature heated discussions on the hottest topics of the moment, such as data spaces, data governance, data distribution and trading, trust frameworks and open data. This event is designed as a round table meeting and is a rare opportunity for participants to gain exclusive information and network.
東京大学と一般社団法人データ社会推進協議会(DSA)は、内外のデータスペース関連団体と協力し、来る10月7日（月）〜10月11日（金）に日本初「データスペースウィーク2024」を開催します。5日間に渡るイベント週間では内外の産官学民キープレイヤーが集結。データスペース、データガバナンス、データ流通やデータ取引、トラストフレームワーク、オープンデータなど、いまもっともホットなテーマについて熱い議論を交わします。本イベントはラウンドテーブル(円卓)会議を想定しており、参加者限定の情報やネットワークを得られる希少な機会です。
